Last updated: 5 October 2026

1. Information about the Host

The accommodation service is provided by:

Emilia Strano
Monza Missori House
Private non-business tourist rental
Via Giuseppe Missori, Monza (MB), Italy
Email: info@monzamissorihouse.com
CIN: IT108033C2N8MDQCLX

These Terms and Conditions apply to direct bookings made through the Monza Missori House website.

Where mandatory consumer-protection provisions apply, any rights granted by applicable law remain unaffected.

2. Scope of the service

Monza Missori House provides the private non-business tourist rental of the entire apartment described on the website for temporary stays.

A booking relates exclusively to the accommodation, selected dates, declared number of guests and services expressly included in the booking.

Services independently provided by third parties are separate from the accommodation rental contract unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. Accommodation characteristics

Monza Missori House is an apartment located in the historic centre of Monza and can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.

The features, facilities, photographs and information published on the website aim to describe the accommodation as accurately as possible.

Guests should verify before submitting a booking request that the accommodation meets their needs.

4. Information before booking

Before submitting the booking request, the guest is provided with the main information relating to the stay, including, where applicable, the dates, number of guests, total price, price per night, and any specific applicable conditions.

Guests are responsible for checking the accuracy of the information entered before submitting the request.

5. Booking request and confirmation

Availability, rates and the booking process may be managed through booking systems integrated into the website.

Submission of a booking request does not constitute final confirmation of the booking.

The booking becomes concluded and binding only after approval of the request by Monza Missori House, successful completion of the required payment and communication of final confirmation to the guest.

Until that time, the request may be declined without a stay contract being formed.

Before submitting the request, guests must carefully review the stay dates, number of guests, price, rate, cancellation conditions and any applicable specific conditions.

6. Booking confirmation and contractual documentation

Following confirmation, the guest receives written communication containing or summarising the main conditions of the stay.

The booking confirmation, together with these Terms and Conditions and the booking information communicated to the guest, constitutes the contractual documentation relating to the stay.

The booking confirmation contains or makes available on a durable medium the main contractual information relating to the stay, including at least the stay dates, number of guests, price, rate and applicable cancellation conditions.

7. Storage, correction of information and availability of the Terms

Before submitting the booking request, the guest may review and correct the information entered during the booking process.

These Terms and Conditions are made available in a format that allows the guest to review, store and reproduce them.

The version of the Terms accepted by the guest is associated with the booking request by the booking system.

The booking confirmation and main contractual information are sent to the email address provided by the guest during the booking process.

To request a copy of the documentation relating to a booking, the guest may contact info@monzamissorihouse.com.

Bookings may be made in Italian or English.

8. Prices

Prices shown during the booking process are expressed in euros unless otherwise stated.

The total amount shown before submission of the request represents the price of the stay and any services expressly included.

The tourist tax imposed by the Municipality of Monza, where applicable, is not included and is collected separately in accordance with municipal rules in force at the time of the stay.

9. Payment

For all bookings, 100% of the amount due for the stay is payable.

When a booking request is submitted, the guest’s payment method may be pre-authorised through Stripe, with a temporary hold for the relevant amount in accordance with the process shown during booking.

Submission of the booking request and any card pre-authorisation do not in themselves constitute confirmation of the booking.

If the request is approved by Monza Missori House, payment is completed according to the applicable Stripe payment flow and the booking is subsequently confirmed to the guest.

If the request is not approved, no booking contract is concluded and any pre-authorisation is handled in accordance with the procedures and timing of Stripe and the relevant payment-method issuer.

Failure to obtain payment authorisation or successfully process the transaction may prevent confirmation of the booking.

10. Cancellation Policy

A single cancellation policy applies to all direct bookings made through the Monza Missori House website.

The booking may be cancelled free of charge until 3:00 PM local property time on the day falling 14 days before the scheduled check-in date.
After this deadline, the full booking amount is non-refundable.

11. No-show and early departure

In the event of a no-show, the entire booking amount remains payable and no refund is due.

Unused nights resulting from early departure are non-refundable.

12. Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to Article 59(1)(n) of Italian Legislative Decree No. 206/2005, where consumer legislation applies, the standard right of withdrawal applicable to distance contracts does not apply to the provision of accommodation for non-residential purposes where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.

Accordingly, a confirmed booking cannot be cancelled by relying on the standard 14-day cooling-off period.

Cancellation and refund rights are governed by the cancellation policy set out in Article 10.

Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

13. Booking amendments

Any request to change the booking dates is subject to availability and approval by Monza Missori House.

Any price difference will be communicated before confirmation of the change.

A request for amendment does not itself constitute acceptance.

14. Refunds

Where a refund is due, Monza Missori House will normally arrange it through Stripe to the original payment method, where technically possible.

Actual processing times may depend on Stripe, the payment network and the guest’s bank or payment-method issuer.

Monza Missori House cannot guarantee the exact date on which a correctly initiated refund will appear.

15. Payment disputes

Guests with questions or concerns regarding a charge are encouraged to contact info@monzamissorihouse.com before initiating a payment dispute.

This does not restrict any rights available under applicable law or through the guest’s payment-service provider.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute does not automatically alter the booking terms or create an automatic entitlement to a refund.

Monza Missori House may provide relevant payment providers with documentation reasonably necessary to handle the dispute in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

16. Check-in and check-out

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Check-out must be completed by 10:00 AM.

Check-in is carried out in person.

Alternative arrival times are subject to prior request and express confirmation, taking into account previous departures, preparation time and availability for guest reception.

17. Guest identification

All guests must provide a valid identity document before arrival or at check-in to allow compliance with Italian legal requirements.

The booking guest is responsible for the accuracy of the information supplied for all occupants.

Where legally required identification information cannot be obtained, check-in may not be possible.

18. Capacity to book

The person submitting the booking request must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of assuming the obligations arising from the booking.

By submitting the request, the guest confirms that the information provided is accurate and that they are authorised to act as necessary for the other persons included in the stay.

19. Maximum occupancy and house rules

The accommodation can host a maximum of 4 guests.

Guests must use the accommodation with due care and respect the building and other residents.

Pets are not permitted.
Smoking inside is prohibited.
Parties and private events are prohibited.
Unregistered guests are not permitted.
Guests must respect the peace and quiet of the building, particularly during evening and night hours.
The accommodation may only be used for temporary accommodation and lawful purposes.
Furniture, appliances and equipment may not be moved, removed or altered except as reasonably necessary for normal use.

Serious breaches may result in measures permitted by law, including termination of the stay in serious cases.

20. No assignment or subletting

The booking is personal and may not be assigned, resold or transferred without prior approval by Monza Missori House.

Subletting, whether in whole or in part, is prohibited, as is use of the property for accommodation or commercial activities incompatible with the purpose of the stay.

21. Security deposit and damage

No security deposit is required.

Guests remain responsible for damage attributable to them or to persons included in the booking.

Monza Missori House may request reimbursement of documented repair or replacement costs.

22. Parking

A parking space may be available upon request and subject to prior confirmation.

Parking is not automatically included or guaranteed.

Availability, location and vehicle-size restrictions may apply.

23. Third-party services and private transfers

At the guest’s request, Monza Missori House may provide contact information or facilitate contact with independent third-party providers, including providers of private driver transfer services.

Such services do not form part of the accommodation rental contract, are not included in the price of the stay and are not services provided by Monza Missori House.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, any agreement concerning such additional service is entered into directly between the guest and the third-party provider.

The price, payment arrangements, cancellation conditions and responsibilities relating to the service are determined directly by the provider.

Monza Missori House does not collect the service price on its own behalf and does not assume responsibility for services independently performed by the third-party provider, subject to any mandatory obligations under applicable law.

Assistance in putting the guest in contact with the provider does not make the additional service part of the accommodation booking.

24. Tourist tax

The tourist tax imposed by the Municipality of Monza, where applicable, is not included in the booking price and is collected separately.

The amount, exemptions, reductions and application rules are determined by the municipal provisions in force at the time of the stay.

25. Cancellation by Monza Missori House

If Monza Missori House must cancel a confirmed booking because the stay cannot be provided, the guest is entitled to a full refund of the amounts paid for the unused part of the booking.

Where reasonably possible, assistance may be provided in identifying alternative accommodation, without any guarantee as to availability, price or characteristics.

26. Force majeure and external disruptions

To the extent permitted by law, Monza Missori House is not liable for non-performance, delays, interruptions or inability to provide the stay caused by extraordinary or unforeseeable circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Monza Missori House will take reasonably possible steps to reduce inconvenience.

Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

27. Reporting issues and complaints

Problems experienced during the stay should be reported promptly or as soon as reasonably possible.

Subsequent complaints may be sent to info@monzamissorihouse.com.

Failure to report an issue promptly may be taken into account when assessing whether it could reasonably have been investigated or resolved, without affecting mandatory rights.

28. Accuracy of information

Monza Missori House seeks to keep the website information accurate and up to date.

Minor non-substantial changes may occur because of maintenance, replacement of furnishings or equipment updates.

Differences that do not materially affect safety, usability or essential accommodation characteristics do not automatically constitute a breach.

29. Third-party services used by the website

The website and booking process may use services provided by third parties, including RentalCal, Stripe and Google Maps.

These services may be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Monza Missori House does not control their independent operation, availability or data processing, without prejudice to obligations that remain with Monza Missori House under applicable law.

30. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, original website content is owned by Monza Missori House or used with permission.

Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, modification, publication or commercial use is prohibited except where permitted by law.

31. Official communications

The official contact address for cancellations, amendments, complaints, assistance and contractual communications is:

info@monzamissorihouse.com

32. Personal data

Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy published on the website.

The Privacy Policy is separate from these Terms and Conditions.

33. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

Where mandatory consumer-protection provisions apply, jurisdiction is determined according to those mandatory rules, including, where applicable, the courts of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile.

For disputes not subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules, the Court of Monza shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Before commencing legal proceedings, the parties are encouraged, where possible, to seek an amicable resolution.

34. Severability

If any provision is invalid, ineffective or unenforceable, in whole or in part, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.

35. Changes to these Terms

Each booking is governed by the version of these Terms accepted when the booking is confirmed, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Subsequent changes do not apply retroactively.

36. Language

These Terms are available in Italian and English.

In the event of discrepancies or interpretative differences, the Italian version shall prevail.

37. Effective date and acceptance

These Terms and Conditions take effect from the date shown as “Last updated” and apply to bookings concluded from that date onwards.

Before submitting a booking request, the guest must review and accept these Terms and Conditions through the acceptance mechanism provided within the booking process.

A booking request cannot be submitted until the Terms and Conditions have been accepted.

The booking system records the guest’s acceptance and the version of the Terms applicable to the request.

Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions forms an integral part of the booking request and subsequent booking.
